I was touched by this story. I am wondering what would be my reaction I were to lose my only son Alex. God’s love prevails as I have heard last Saturday from Jose Rojas. His brother was killed by two gang members. The mother said “I forgive them”. Compassion is what prevails in this world. Michel

Very true of our times. The more we get engrossed in televisions and computers, the more we are losing touch with other human beings, almost living in the world of make believe and virtual reality. We do need to divide time between reality and techno-world. A great question by your granddaughter.

Yes, Tom, these are the only values you need to live a great life of contentment. I don’t think you need to add or subtract any. These are the ten commandments we should follow though the priorities differ in the sense at what you place the first and last as the commandment.

You are absolutely right. We should honour our word. If we don’t honour our own words nobody will honour us or trust our word.I too follow this policy, there are setbacks but I sleep with a clear conscience. That’s what matters at the end of the day. And yes, I do have strong reputation and people swear by it…touch wood! Isn’t it a great reward?
